Baljit Dail

Chairman of the Board

Baljit “Bal” Dail is President, Strategic Initiatives at Circana. Mr. Dail served as President of Strategic Initiatives at IRI Worldwide prior to IRI’s merger with the NPD Group and rebranding as Circana. Previously, Mr. Dail served as Senior Adviser, at New Mountain Capital. While in this role, Bal served as Chairman and CEO of JDA Software, a New Mountain Capital portfolio company. Prior to joining New Mountain Capital, Bal served in a number of executive roles at Aon Corporation, including CEO of Aon Hewitt and of Aon Consulting, COO of Aon Benfield, and CIO of Aon Corporation. Prior to Aon, he was a principal at McKinsey & Company focused on the high-tech sector. Bal started his career in the technology group at Marks & Spencer, a leading retailer in the United Kingdom, and he has also held leadership positions at JP Morgan, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Ford Motor Company.

Bal has served on the boards of JDA Software, IRI, Mid Continent ISO (where he also chaired the Information Technology Committee), Sparta Systems, One Digital, Beeline, Alexander Mann Solutions, AmWins, and Western Dental. Bal holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in England.

Tim Adams

Chief Financial Officer, Rapid7

Tim is the Chief Financial Officer of Rapid7, a leading provider of security analytics and automation.  Prior to this position, he served as CFO of Bitsight, the market leader in cybersecurity ratings, and as CFO of ObsEva, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics for serious conditions that impact a woman’s reproductive health and pregnancy. Tim previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Demandware, a leading global provider of cloud-based digital commerce solutions and services, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2016. He brings over 3 decades of experience leading finance and strategy organizations at healthcare and technology companies including athenahealth, Inc., Keystone Dental, Inc., Orthofix, Cytyc Corporation, Digex and GTE Internetworking / BBN Planet. Tim began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, formerly Price Waterhouse, and is a certified public accountant. He also serves on the board of directors for Intelycare, a private healthcare workforce management company.

Mr. Adams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Murray State University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.

Jason Blessing

Chief Executive Officer

Jason Blessing is Model N’s Chief Executive Officer. Jason previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Plex Systems from January 2013 to December 2017 and was a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Jason joined Plex from Oracle, where he was Senior Vice President of Talent Management Cloud Applications. He joined Oracle in 2012 through the acquisition of Taleo, a pioneer in cloud software where he held several executive positions between 2007 and 2012. Between 2010 and 2012, Jason served as Taleo’s Executive Vice President of Products and Technology, where he led the company’s product strategy, product management, engineering and cloud services. Prior to this, Jason founded Taleo’s small and medium-sized business (SMB) unit, where he had global responsibility for sales, marketing, product development and services. During his tenure, Taleo’s SMB products were a major contributor to the company’s growth, as the company became the undisputed market leader with more than 4,500 customers worldwide.

Previously, Jason held a variety of executive positions at PeopleSoft, Oracle and Price Waterhouse. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is on the university’s Advisory Board for the School of Information.

Kimberly DeCarlis

Independent Consultant

Board member Kimberly DeCarlis has served as a member of our board of directors since January 2020. She is an independent consultant providing go-to-market advisory services for young and growing companies, including the portfolio companies of Cota Capital, where she currently serves as an operating partner. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer of PerimeterX, a cybersecurity firm whose solutions protect Global 2000 companies from automated attacks. She also serves on the board of Girls in Tech.

Melissa Fisher

Chief Financial Officer, Outreach

Melissa Fisher has served as a member of our Board of Directors since August of 2016 and is a member of the audit committee. She is the Chief Financial Officer of Outreach, the leading sales execution platform helping revenue organizations create and close more pipeline. Prior to Outreach, Ms. Fisher served as the CFO at Qualys, Inc., where she led all elements of the company’s finance organization, including finance, accounting, investor relations, treasury and tax. She has a strong history leading finance, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations teams at SaaS-based companies, including Zynga and Digital River. Early in her career, Fisher worked for investment banking firms including Goldman Sachs and Banc of America Securities LLC. She previously served on the Board of Directors for Image Sensing Systems, Inc. as chair of its audit committee as well as Digital Generation Inc. Fisher holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University and a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Manisha Gulati

Manisha Shetty Gulati has served on our Board of Directors since December 2020. Previously, she was Chief Growth Officer at Commure, Inc., a healthcare software company. Prior to Commure, Manisha was Chief Operating Officer at Clarify Health Solutions, a software and analytics company, and a partner at McKinsey and Company focusing on healthcare. In addition, she serves as Vice Chair of the Board of global nonprofit ReSurge International. Manisha received a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, a Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College.

Alan Henricks

Independent Consultant

Alan Henricks is Chief Financial Officer of Waverley Capital Acquisition Corp. 1. He is a 40-year veteran of the high tech industry where he has served as CFO of public and private companies such as Documentum, Borland, Ring, Pure Digital Technologies, Interwoven and Informix. Henricks has extensive board experience and currently serves as the Audit Committee Chairman of three private companies. He has been a “Board Leadership Fellow” of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) since 2013.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.

Scott Reese

Chief Executive Officer, GE Digital

Scott Reese is Chief Executive Officer of GE Digital.  Prior to GE Digital, he served as Executive Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing at Autodesk where he was focused on building products that anticipated needs across industries and deliver long-term growth. He was also responsible for information and cybersecurity across the company.

Scott managed product development for Autodesk cloud products targeting the manufacturing, construction, and media and entertainment industries. These products included Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Netfabb, Autodesk Powermill and Autodesk Shotgun, as well as the broader Autodesk Forge platform. Previously, Scott served as Autodesk’s vice president, Cloud Platforms and Operations. During his Autodesk tenure, Scott also held the positions of senior director for Simulation; senior director of the Autodesk Digital Factory team; and product line manager for AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD Mechanical. He joined Autodesk in 2003 with the acquisition of VIA Development Corporation where he served as vice president.

In addition, Scott serves on the board of The National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, Inc. (NACME). NACME’s goal is to increase representation and opportunities for those who are underrepresented in the engineering workforce.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Dave Yarnold

Independent Consultant

Dave has spent the better part of his career (30+ years) as a serial entrepreneur in the enterprise software industry. He currently works as an independent consultant, working with a number of CEOs as coach and advisor, while serving as an independent director on the board of directors at Model N and several private companies. Prior to that, he was the CEO of ServiceMax, a cloud-based field service software application, which he sold to GE Digital in January 2017 for $1B.

Previously (2004-2008), he was Vice President of Global Sales for SuccessFactors, a SaaS leader in the talent management space, where he built a global sales team that grew from $2M to $120M in bookings over a four year period. The company went public in November 2007, and was subsequently acquired by SAP for over $3B.

Mr. Yarnold’s experience in the software industry began in 1986 at Oracle, where he was part of the original team that developed and sold the first Oracle applications products. From 1996-1999, as Vice President of North American sales at Clarify, he helped that company grow from $18M to $250M in annual sales over a four year period prior to Clarify’s acquisition by Nortel for $2.2B. He then led the Business Development and Worldwide Sales teams at Extensity, a provider of web-based employee productivity applications, from 1999-2003 during which the company completed a successful IPO in 2000, and, subsequently, a sale of the company in 2003 to Geac.
