Roxana Santiago is a Global Finance leader with 20+ years’ experience and a diverse background spanning Gross to Net (GTN) Finance, Accounting, Audit, SOX Compliance and Controls, Project and Operations Management. Roxana has led large scale projects, spanning international regions including Latin America, Asia and Europe aimed at improving collaboration and continuous cross-functional engagement that restore and strengthen business relationships, systems, processes, data integrity and controls to enable accurate and complete financial statement reporting.
As Director of Revenue Accounting at Fresenius Kabi North America, Roxana oversees revenue recognition for over $2 billion in net sales and related compliance to IFRS15, GTN reserves integrity and controls. Prior to joining Fresenius Kabi, Roxana worked for Hospira, a Pfizer company for 10 years. There, she led the company’s Global SOX Compliance initiatives, and subsequently, joined the US GTN Commercial Finance organization to champion a transformative effort that strengthened internal controls in various cross-functional processes amidst a new revenue management system implementation. Roxana’s background in Audit and Internal Controls proved to be critical towards establishing cross-functional collaboration and training and instill accountability for accurate, valid, timely and complete accrual financial integrity spanning all major GTN and Operations teams including Commercial Contracting, GPO Membership, Chargebacks and Rebates, Business Analysis, Sales and IT.
Roxana earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and passed the CPA examination on her first attempt. Throughout her career, she has been an active participant at various professional GTN and Controls seminars and has formed professional benchmark groups with industry experts to share best practices that bring thought leadership to the organization.
