European Commercial & Pricing Innovation Forum drives industry discussion with leaders and experts in Life Sciences

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – October 1, 2015 – Model N, Inc. (NYSE: MODN), a leading provider of cloud-based Revenue Management solutions to life science, technology and manufacturing companies, announced today, the hosting of the Commercial and Pricing Innovation Forum in October, sponsored by Salesforce.com, Deloitte and High Point Solutions. The event will be held on October 12-13, 2015 at the Hotel Arts, Barcelona, Spain. Life sciences leaders from around the globe will discuss the industry dynamics compelling manufacturers to become more effective at managing global pricing, commercial innovation trends and strategies to boost top and bottom lines.

Maximizing revenues and reducing price erosion is top of mind for Pharmaceutical executives and requires access to up-to-date global pricing data, improving cross-regional pricing collaboration and uncovering insights through historical and predictive analytics. Failing to manage and understand pricing on a global level can translate into revenue loss amounting to tens of millions of dollars. International reference pricing adds another layer of complexity.

“The life science industry is undergoing several changes, forcing companies to demonstrate real, measurable value to stakeholders,” says Shail Khiyara, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Model N. “Life science organizations are seeking an end-to-end, enterprise class solution to manage global pricing and product launches. We are excited to have the world’s leading brands participate in a discussion and exchange best practices on their strategic imperative of global pricing.”

This thought leadership event aims to provide participants with key insights to unlock value along the entire product lifecycle. Topics presented at the forum range from end-to-end life cycle management to analytics to pricing segmentation. Speakers include:

  • Julie Spiesser, VP Head of Global Strategic Pricing, Sanofi
  • Kirsten Detrick, Vice President Therapeutic Area Commercial Lead, Takeda
  • Klaas Postema, Executive Director Market Access, Actavis
  • Diane Munch, Global Pricing Lead, Global Health & Value, Pfizer
  • Nico Bacharidis, Global Tender and Contracting Lead, Pfizer
  • Cristina Cantarell, Strategic Pricing Director, Advanced Surgical Devices, Former Smith and Nephew
  • Adrianna Furtuna, Pricing Lead, AstraZeneca

“This conference gives me the opportunity to share thoughts with my peers from the Pharma industry about how we can better manage risk and uncertainty during product launches,” says Julie Spiesser, VP Head of Global Strategic Pricing, Sanofi.
