Gain More Insight, Control, and Interoperability with the Revvy Winter ’16-’17 Release

interoperabilityLast week, Model N put the finishing touches on the Winter ’16-’17 release of the Revvy Revenue Management suite of products. In the latest GA release, we’ve made product enhancements that provide more flexibility, better performance, and greater interoperability. We also introduced new solutions to enhance Salesforce CPQ as part of our Platinum-level partnership with Salesforce. We thought we’d take an opportunity to share some highlights from the new release.

Revvy CPQ now offers Product Lifecycle Tracking, which allows admins to manage the transition of new products across lifecycle stages such as Draft, Localization, Release to Markets, Release to Sales for Quoting, and Ready to Sales for Ordering. In addition, Configuration Model Versioning allows admins to differentiate between versions of products in the quoting process. This is especially important for companies that have longer quoting cycles as configuration models are changing and quotes in flight need to get updated with the latest configuration rules and model data. Additionally, the Revvy Configuration engine has gotten more efficient when configuring large models. We are seeing performance improvements of up to 5X for models that have thousands of options and hundreds of rules.

In Revvy CPQ for SAP, we’ve added out-of-the-box SAP integration that enables sales reps to place a quote with lots of price conditions and product configurations as an orders with KMATs in SAP ERP, making the Quote-to-Order process more seamless. With the new Revvy CPQ Intelligence and CPQ Data Mart, businesses can now manage and track key KPIs based on their current historical quote data.


Model N’s partnership with Salesforce has produced two new solutions to enhance Salesforce CPQ: X-Data for Salesforce CPQ and Authoring for Salesforce CPQ. X-Data for Salesforce CPQ allows users to analyze and update complex and large quotes directly in Microsoft® Excel, while Authoring for Salesforce CPQ enables users to increase collaboration and fast-track negotiations with contract and proposal redlining directly in Microsoft® Word.



Finally, we’ve added a new Revvy Partner Community for Rebate Management to our portfolio of solutions. This portal allows channel partners to easily view their rebate program performance and the benefits they’ve earned to date.
