INTRODUCING MODEL N HIGH TECH RELEASE 7.6

Model N is pleased to announce the general availability of Release 7.6 of the High Tech Revenue Management Suite. The new release delivers significant enhancements to the industry-leading suite, including:

  • Advanced Support for Root Part, which allows sales teams to track opportunities by root part more easily and efficiently, improving price execution consistency. Opportunities and registrations can be tracked at the root part level and are seamlessly linked to quotes, orders, and debits without requiring sales team updates. It also eliminates the need for distributors to create registrations for every possible MPN grouped under a root part, ensuring that registration values are not inflated.

  • Advanced Support for End Customer at Item Level, which provides improved visibility into multiple end customers at the time of quoting and POS reconciliation, enabling tighter control on prices and margins. It also allows users to specify end customer at the line item level of a transaction, which is especially useful when conducting business with contract manufacturers.

  • POS Enhancements, including enhanced POS processing that enables users to get a complete view of channel inventory, increase the effectiveness of credit claims processing, and reduce potential revenue leakage due to channel incentive overpayment. Release 7.6 supports all EDI codes, and allows users to process all POS information acquired from distributors to increase visibility into channel inventory. With new features such as the ability to process duplicate processing capabilities and credit request validation rules, users can now process POS data more comprehensively and effectively.

 

Release 7.6 also features several customer-requested general enhancements, including:

  • Support for CEM type contracts to effectively set up complex contracts with contract manufacturers

  • Support for multiple quotes on an order and multiple orders on a quote to increase flexibility in the order management process

  • Quoting/pricing enhancements, including support for “no bid” business processes

  • “Copy user” functionality on user admin pages to quickly and easily set up a new user
