Arun Bhat
Principal Member of Technical Staff, Product Development, Model N
Arun Bhat has eight years experience with Azerity and was responsible for the architecture of the Azerity Developer's Kit (ADK) and key business modules such as Pricing, Opportunities/Registrations, Commissions, Forecasting, and Asset Management. He is currently responsible for the delivery of the new Azerity 7.5 Deal Analytics module and for upcoming Model N Performance initiatives. Previously, Arun worked at Wipro before Azerity as an engineer on their web based network management product. He holds a BS in computer science and engineering from IT-BHU, India.

Christopher Breslin
Vice President, Supplier Marketing, North American Components, Arrow Electronics
Chris Breslin leads Arrow’s North American supplier marketing and management initiatives. His team is responsible for setting and implementing growth and profitability strategies and programs. The supplier marketing team is responsible for bringing specific supplier technologies and products to market through Arrow’s selling organization. Prior to leading the marketing team, Chris lead the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Voice of the Supplier (VoS) programs, business continuity planning, and resource and project monitoring (RPM) at Arrow Electronics. He is also a core member of the Global CPI council that ensures integration and alignment of these activities with Arrow’s global CPI efforts. Chris joined Arrow 12 years ago and has held a variety of product management and marketing positions, most recently as vice president of global asset optimization.  Previously he served as vice president of supplier marketing and asset management for Arrow Asia/Pacific. Before joining Arrow, Chris served as area sales manager for AT&T Communications.

Richard Carlson

Hang Chen is a solutions architect and technical consultant within the professional services organization at Model N. He has strong experience with the Oracle database, configuration/customization and interfacing to and from ERP environments. Hang has more than 11 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He holds an MS in computer integrated manufacturing from the Singapore Nanyang Technological University and a BS in control and automation engineering from Xian Jiaotong University, China.

John Ellithorpe
Co-founder, Chief Architect, Product Development, Model N
Dr. John Ellithorpe is responsible for the overall technical architecture and direction of the Model N products. During his tenure at Model N, John has led the development of many areas of the Model N platform and applications. He came to Model N from the NetDynamics business unit of Sun Microsystems, where as a senior software engineer he led teams in several key projects to extend the NetDynamics application server. Prior to joining NetDynamics, John worked at Advanced Visual Systems, where he was responsible for the core runtime of the AVS/Express product. He has also worked at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where he worked on the control and data processing system for a next generation sensor systems. John holds a PhD in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in physics cum laude from the University of California, Irvine.

Fan Fan
Senior Product Manager, Model N
Fan Fan is product manager for the Model N Managed Care solution. She has years of experience in supply relationship management, master data management, and life sciences exchange management from serving in product management and engineering roles at i2 Technologies and Ventro. Prior to working in the software industry, Fan conducted research in medical genetics at Stanford University. She holds a PhD in biology from the University of Southern California and a BS from the University of Science and Technology of China.

Gary Fine
Principal Architect and Technology Evangelist,
Model N

Gary Fine has more than 25 years experience in software development. He joined Model N in 2001 as vice president of product development, responsible for leading the development of Model N's first Revenue Management application. Subsequently, he joined the sales and business development teams as principal architect and technology evangelist responsible for architecting appropriate solutions for our customers. Before joining Model N, Gary served as VP of engineering at Express Action, an e-commerce platform enabling global e-business by managing the rules of international trade online, and as VP engineering and COO at 12degrees.com, a Web-based custom travel service he co-founded in 1997. He holds a BA in psychology and mathematics from the University of South Africa and the University of Cape Town, a BS with honors in mathematics and computer science from the University of Cape Town, and a MS in computer science from the University of British Columbia.

Anne Flaherty
Senior Director, Government Pricing, Compliance and Administration, Sepracor
Anne Flaherty is an expert in operations management, price reporting, rebate and contract management, financial accounting, reimbursement, contract management, legislative affairs, and strategic planning. At Sepracor, she is responsible for all federal and state pricing, government rebate management, VA contract compliance, and related forecast and accruals.

Lisa Greene
Director, Product Management, Model N
Lisa Greene has more than15 years of experience in the enterprise software industry. In her current role, she focuses on new product definition for Model N’s High Tech division. Prior to Model N, Lisa was a manager at KPMG (now BearingPoint), leading a project team in a worldwide implementation of Oracle Financials for Octel Communications (now Lucent Technologies). She joined KPMG from Price Waterhouse (now IBM Global Services), where she gained extensive consulting experience through various packaged and custom software implementation projects Lisa holds a BA in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Haas School of Business.

Joseph Greer
Senior Director, IT, Par Pharmaceutical
Joe Greer brings has years of IT management experience. Prior to joining Par, he was director of IT for PLIVA, Inc., which was recently acquired by Barr Labs.  Joe was instrumental in implementing IT best practices at PLIVA and leading system improvements to benefit the business. Previously, he directed data center operations at Pfizer, where he led corporate IT validation and QA in the metro New York area, led IT SOX compliance, created an IT project management office for the Americas, and was IT site head at the Ann Arbor, Michigan research site.  Prior to Pfizer, Joe spent time at Sterling Drug/Nycomed Amersham and Andersen Consulting. He received his BSE degree in engineering management systems from Princeton and his MBA in operations and finance from Duke.

Clay Hebert
Director of Marketing and Business Development, Accenture
Clay Hebert has seven years of experience in the Life Sciences industry. Prior to his current role, he managed workstreams of packaged software implementations at two top-ten medical device companies with domain expertise in compliance management, price resolution analysis, contract analytics, contract offer development, organizational optimization and process and change management. Clay holds a BS in finance and insurance from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.

Tim Hsu
Product Line Manager, Model N
Tim Hsu is responsible for the creation, definition, and marketing of Model N applications for the Life Sciences industry. Having overseen the product launch of Model N Medicaid Claims Processing, he continues to work closely with customers and partners to develop best-in-class solutions for addressing the challenges inherent to regulatory compliance. Tim holds a BS in business administration from Miami University Ohio.

Farruq Jafery, J.D.
Director, Contract Administration, Astellas Pharma US
Farruq Jafery has led the contracting administration department at Astellas since 2005, playing a key role in the transformation of Astellas Contracting from an administrative function to a strategic function through the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Initiative. He has served as the project leader for the successful implementation of the Model N Revenue Management Suite at Astellas which went live in January 2008. Farruq brings 10 years of contract management experience in the Pharma/Health Care industry, having previously led teams in institutional contracting, contract operations, managed care, and Medicare Part D Contracting at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and served as contracts manager and in-house legal counsel for PDM Healthcare, a national group purchasing organization. Prior to entering the pharma industry, he practiced law for several years. Farruq holds a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a BS in business administration from The Ohio State University.

Fred Jones
High Tech Customer Solutions and Strategic Account Manager, Model N
Fred Jones has 25 years experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and distribution industry. He has held various sales, sales operations, and marketing positions during his career. Fred began his career with Inmos, a start-up company that was later acquired by ST Micro. He later joined Wyle Laboratories, Micron Technologies, and Cypress Semiconductor, where he served as director of global distributor operations. Most recently, Fred served as director of global sales operations at International Rectifier. He holds a BA from Arizona State University.

Ranjit Jose
Regulatory Practice Lead, Professional Services, Model N
Ranjit Jose is the practice lead of Model N's Regulatory Center of Excellence within the Professional Services group. He has led both commercial and regulatory implementations of the Model N suite of applications and brings extensive experience managing Government Pricing implementations. In his current role, Ranjit provides subject matter expertise in all of Model N's regulatory projects and provides leadership to the team of business analysts consulting on Model N GP and Medicaid implementations.

Gal Josefsberg
Product Line Manager, Model N
Gal Josefsberg joined Model N in May 2006 as a product line manager. During his time with Model N he has helped the company release two major and two minor releases and has been instrumental in driving the company’s integration strategy. Gal is responsible for overall product strategy for the company’s settlements line of applications, including chargebacks, rebates, and fees. He is also responsible for identifying new market opportunities in the channel area. Prior to Model N, Gal spent two years at Witness Systems, managing the company’s CRM and quality monitoring applications. Previously, he spent time at Blue Pumpkin Software, where he managed the company’s optimization and scheduling software through multiple releases. Gal holds a BS in finance from Bryant University.

Sarvajna Kazi
Partner, Accenture
Sarvajna Kazi is a partner in Accenture’s Pricing and Profit Optimization Practice with focus on the electronics and high tech industry. He has assisted semiconductor, software, and OEM clients in improving their pricing strategies and capabilities. Sarvajna has more than 16 years of experience working in the strategic areas of pricing, corporate M&A, corporate and BU strategies, as well as new product markets in computing, semiconductor, software, and networking equipment companies.

Rene Larro
Vice President, Core Product Management, Model N
Rene Larro is responsible for overall product strategy and roadmap development for Model N's Commercial Applications, and for identifying new opportunities that span Model N's verticals. Since joining Model N in 2001, he has been instrumental in the identification of market opportunities in the Life Sciences vertical and in defining and building products to address them. Previously, Rene was a senior product manager at Digital Impact (now Acxiom Digital). Earlier in his career, he was a manager at Andersen Business Consulting where he led the delivery of consulting engagements in the financial services and telecom industries, and he began his career as an actuarial analyst with the Delta Dental Plan of California. Rene holds a BS in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.

Maria Mangler
Assistant Director, Government Contracts, Astellas Pharma US  
Maria Mangler manages Astellas' obligations under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, contracted sales under the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract with the Veteran's Administration, and the Public Health Service (PHS) 340B program. Previously, she held various positions at TAP Pharmaceuticals where she managed aspects of government price calculations and contracted government sales. Maria has served as the SME for various contracting and pricing system implementations and was a point of contact for several external OIG audits.  She holds a BA from DePaul University and has approximately twenty years of combined experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.

Robert S. Matsuk
Pricing and Incentives Solution Director, CSC
Robert Matsuk has extensive experience with contracting, operations improvement, and projects including strategy and systems implementation. He has more than 24 years of experience in the life science industry, including over 14 years as a consultant focusing on improving the sales and marketing performance of major organizations.

Jan McCleery
Model N Consultant, former CTO and Co-founder, Azerity
Jan McCleery has extensive experience successfully delivering real-time, mission critical, and enterprise application software. Prior to Model N and Azerity, she served as vice president of engineering at Digital Market (an on-line eMarket for electronic parts), director of technology at Varian (managing SAP Technology), director of engineering at Dow Jones Telerate, and product line manager/director at ASK (MANMAN MRP and Ingres database software). Jan began her software career with 20 years at Ford Aerospace/Loral, beginning as a scientific programmer (satellite design, analysis, and research), then progressing to division software technology manager. She was awarded the San Jose Mercury News TWIN (Tribute to Women in Industry) Award. Jan holds an MS in math and BS in math/physics from the University of Utah.

Kris McGraw
Contract Manager, Government Pricing and Managed Markets, Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals and Personal Healthcare
Kris McGraw has been with Procter & Gamble for more than twenty years. She is responsible for developing and implementing national account contracts with managed care organizations, Medicare Part D, and the federal government (FSS and PHS/340B) for Procter & Gambles's prescription drugs and selected OTC products.  Kris also manages all aspects of pricing including government pricing. She received her BS in business from Sullivan University.

Scott Medberry
Senior Product Manager, Regulatory Applications, Model N
Scott Medberry is a senior product manager with Model N. In this role, he is responsible for the creation, definition, and marketing of Model N applications, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance applications. Scott works closely with Model N’s customers and partners to develop best in class solutions for addressing the challenges of regulatory compliance. He has 11 years experience providing software solutions to the life science industry. Scott came to Model N from Agilent Technologies where he was a product manager specializing in life science software. Prior to Agilent, he was director of information technology at Hyseq Pharmaceuticals, where he built and maintained drug development and infrastructural software and systems. Scott holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Minnesota.

Jan Pretti
Product Line Manager, Core Product Management, Model N
Jan Pretti is responsible for the creation, definition, and marketing of Model N's Commercial Suite applications. Prior to his product management role, he was responsible for implementing Model N’s products as a project manager/business analyst in the professional services organization. Previously, Jan spent time defining and implementing software solutions and products and redesigning business processes both as an employee and a consultant for such companies as DHL, Lotus Development Corporation, Sprint, Norwest Banks, GE Capital, and a number of other smaller companies. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Gopkiran Rao
Senior Director, Life Sciences Industry Marketing, Model N 
Gop Rao brings extensive knowledge of Revenue Management best practices garnered from leading value assessment, product definition, and services implementations for medical technology and pharmaceutical companies. In his current role, he is responsible for the go-to-market strategy for Model N’s life sciences vertical. Gop has previously held senior positions in software and technology consulting and publishing.

Bruce Richardson
Chief Research Officer, AMR Research
Bruce Richardson brings more than 27 years of experience to his current role as chief research officer at AMR Research. He has spent most of his career analyzing the software industry with a distinct emphasis on ERP and supply chain. Since joining AMR Research in 1988, Bruce has been responsible for spearheading new market coverage and contributing to the company’s analysis of leading market trends in areas such as ERP, supply chain management, service-oriented architectures, software-as-a-service, software appliances, and virtualization and visualization.
Bruce has made many early market predictions that have been realized, such as the rise of the advanced planning market and the evolution of MRP to ERP. He also coined the term MES early in his role at AMR Research when he was responsible for all the written research that came from the firm. Bruce graduated cum laude from Boston College and is an active member of the Boston College Technology Council.

Zack Rinat
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Model N
Zack Rinat is an expert in creating successful startup operations and new markets for advanced technology. Prior to founding Model N, he co-founded NetDynamics in 1995, a leading enterprise software company widely acknowledged as the creator of the exploding market for application servers and winner of several industry awards. At NetDynamics, Zack served as president and CEO until its acquisition by Sun Microsystems in 1998, and subsequently served as vice president and general manager of Sun's NetDynamics business unit. Previously, he held senior management positions in operations, marketing, and engineering at Silicon Graphics, Inc. and at Advanced Technology Israel. Zack received a BS in computer science from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

David Schwartz
Senior Manager, Contracts and Pricing, Par Pharmaceutical
David Schwartz joined Par Pharmaceutical in 2006 to provide business leadership for the company’s initiative to improve its contract management infrastructure. He guided efforts in requirements gathering, vendor selection, and implementation partner selection, which led to the Revenue Management implementation project that Par began in 2007. Prior to joining Par, David worked for Schering-Plough Corporation where he spent time as manager of government pricing, managed markets contracting, and health management information. He holds an MSIA (MBA) in finance and information systems from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon and a BS in computer science from the University at Albany in New York.

Ketan Soni
Senior Member of Technical Staff, Model N
Ketan Soni has more than 10 years of experience in software programming. He has worked on Azerity software for nearly seven years and was responsible for the leading the implementation of the Azerity Developer's Kit (ADK). Ketan also led the Dashboard charts implementation and was responsible for features such as PDF emailing, reports, and more. He is currently responsible for the server-side implementation of the new Azerity 7.5 Deal Analytics module. Prior to Model N and Azerity, Ketan worked in India for more than three years designing and developing software for back-office systems and configuration tools for embedded PC based controllers. He holds a BS in computer engineering from the Gujarat University, India.

Yesim Tabanoglu
Senior Product Manager, Model N
Yesim Tabanoglu is senior product manager for Model N’s High Tech Revenue Management Suite. Prior to Model N, she held product management and consulting positions in price management and supply chain software companies including Vendavo, Valdero and i2, providing enterprise solutions to high tech semiconductor and original equipment manufacturers. Yesim holds an MS in management information systems from the University of Arizona an an MBA and BSc in industrial engineering from Bilkent University.

Willie Tejada
Vice President, Application Acceleration, Akamai
Willie Tejada has more than 15 years of marketing, product management, and business development experience. He joined Akamai in March 2007 as part of the Netli acquisition. At Akamai, Willie is responsible for application acceleration solutions targeted at optimizing the delivery of enterprise applications over the Internet. A seasoned executive, he has held various senior management positions in both start-up and large enterprise companies including Novell Inc., where he led marketing, product management, developer, and strategic relations organizations. An accomplished communicator and presenter, Willie is an inventor listed on US Patent 6,078,924 and also the author of Facilitating Competitive Intelligence: The Next Step in Internet-Based Research, published in CRC Press's "Best Practices Series" in Internet Management.

Ali Tore
Co-founder and Vice President, Life Sciences Product Management, Model N
Responsible for Model N's Regulatory Compliance products, Ali Tore has spent the past six years working closely with customers and partners to deliver Model N's Revenue Management Application Suite for the Life Sciences industry. He spearheaded Model N's entry into the pharmaceutical industry focusing on the strategy, definition, and rollout of Model N's Government Pricing application. Ali brings 11 years of enterprise software experience with NetDynamics, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle Manufacturing and Distribution Applications Group. A member of the NCPDP, he holds a BS in industrial engineering and management science with honors from Northwestern University and an MS in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University.

Scott Verschoor

With more than 19 years experience in all aspects of process, packaged software implementations, systems consulting, and a strong background in the Life Sciences industry, Scott Verschoor helps drive the deployment of Model N solutions in the Midwest region. He holds a BA in telecommunications with a computer science minor from Indiana University.

Mike Villott
Vice President , Global Sales Operations, Cypress Semiconductor
Mike Villott is a 35-year veteran of the semiconductor industry. His long career has run the gambit, from senior management positions in marketing, divisional P&Ls, and sales to sales operations. In addition to Cypress, he has held positions at Motorola, Intel, and SEEQ. Mike holds a BS and MS in engineering from Arizona State University.

Jim Walker
Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales, Boston Scientific
Jim Walker has worked in the health care industry for more than 25 years. He has spent the last twelve years creating a world-class Corporate Sales & National Accounts organization that represents every business unit of BSC to supply chain executives who are increasingly influencing purchasing decisions for Boston Scientific products and emerging technologies. Jim’s challenges have included establishing Boston Scientific as a major player with Group Purchasing Organizations, and more recently with numerous national and regional hospital systems, allowing it to effectively compete with formidable competitors. He gained the support of the executive management team to develop an enterprise-wide revenue management system and led the development and implementation of a solution that includes pre-deal negotiation and comprehensive contract management. Prior to Boston Scientific, Jim had a successful career with Johnson & Johnson as director of sales of the Orthopedic Implant division and as director of sales of the Hospital Services division. He holds a BS in education from Northeastern University.

Dave Weiss
Solutions Director, Model N
Dave Weiss has developed technology solutions for contract, pricing, and reimbursement operations within the pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years.  He currently leads Model N’s pharmaceutical solutions group where he is responsible for the rollout on Model N’s regulatory compliance applications within the Revenue Management suite.  Before Model N, Dave managed SAP America’s pharmaceutical industry sector including oversight of the SAP’s solution for contracts and chargebacks (CPCC), as well as its FDA and DEA compliant ERP solutions.  He holds a dual MBA in corporate finance and information systems, and has been an active member of NCPDP and HDMA.

Joel Winterton
Owner, S.E.T Enterprises
Joel Winterton of S.E.T Enterprises is an independent management consultant providing expertise in government pricing, Medicaid, and managed care contracting to the pharmaceutical industry. S.E.T Enterprise's clients include both large pharmaceutical manufacturers as well as several small to mid-size pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers. Joel is widely regarded as an industry expert in understanding the impact of commercial pricing dynamics on regulated market results.

Richard Yu

Richard Yu has been a part of the Model N team since 2000 in numerous cross-functional capacities, including a director role in professional services where he worked with partners to deliver successful implementations. Prior to Model N, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group and Raychem. Richard holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
