Database Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop relational and dimensional data models based on application requirements.
• Provide performance tuning of Oracle database systems for query and data loading
• Gather and analyze requirements for reporting and analytical applications; design the reporting and analytical application data model, including cubes
• Recommend, design, and develop data integration solutions using PL/SQL.
• Own data APIs for all application developers
• Own all the performance, reliability, and scalability features of the Model N software platform
• Mentor and train other developers in the infrastructure team

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years experience developing complex enterprise solutions
• 7-10 years experience in data modeling, SQL development, and performance tuning with large data experience
• Extensive experience with Oracle RDBMS
• Excellent object-oriented design and Java development skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a mentoring or leadership role with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality products
• Experience with project management a plus
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent; MS preferred
