Account Manager, High Tech

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales of Model N solutions into high tech accounts. The Account Manager will lead all aspects of the sales process to their assigned accounts, including the execution of strategies to drive new customer acquisition.

Model N seeks Account Managers who have had experience in developing new business opportunities in $1B++ high tech companies and who have an extensive "Rolodex" of potential contacts within these organizations. This person should be very comfortable navigating target accounts which have complex business problems and a complex hierarchy of stakeholders that can influence decisions. The Account Manager will lead cross-functional account teams which will diagnose the customer business problem and which will articulate the Model N value proposition to the appropriate stakeholders throughout all stages of the Model N sales process. In addition, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing account plans to further penetrate and extend the reach of Model N solutions within the Account Manager's assigned base of existing customers.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years quota achieving experience selling complex enterprise applications and/or business solutions
  • Previous work experience in enterprise applications software companies and/or Systems Integration (SIs) firms
  • Established business and IT contacts within $1B++ high tech companies
  • Highly motivated self starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilites:

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual bookings and cash collection objectives as assigned
  • Drive sales funnel to support assigned bookings objectives
  • Create awareness and demand for Model N solutions with all stakeholders in assigned accounts
  • Manage a consultative, end-to-end sales process entailing prospecting, requirements definition, solution development/presentation, business justification, and closure
  • Articulate the business benefits and value proposition of Model N suite of Revenue Management solutions
  • Required to work in California and must be open to travel
